• Le câble d’alimentation du chauffage ainsi que tous les câbles qui sortent de l’aquarium doivent être dotés d’une boucle d’égouttement, de manière à ce que l’eau qui s’en écoulerait éventuellement ne puisse
pénétrer ni dans les appareils, ni dans la prise secteur.
• Le dépôt de calcaire ou d’autres substances peut altérer le bon fonctionnement du chauffage et sa puissance de chauffe. Nettoyer le chauffage immédiatement en cas de salissure.
• Ce chauffage n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des personnes (y compris des enfants) limitées dans leurs capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou dépourvues d’expérience et/ou de connaissances,
à moins d’être surveillées par une personne responsable de leur sécurité ou d’avoir été instruites par elle pour l’utilisation de l’appareil. Les enfants doivent être surveillés afin de garantir qu’ils ne jouent pas
avec le chauffage.
• N’ouvrez pas le boîtier.
• Vérifiez le câble de secteur avant la première mise en service et lors des travaux d’entretien. En cas d’endommagement : débranchez immédiatement la fiche secteur, arrêtez le chauffage et jetez-le une fois
qu’il aura refroidi.
• Ce chauffage ne doit pas être éliminé avec les déchets ménagers ordinaires. Déposez-le auprès de votre centre de recyclage local.

5. Mise en service et fonctionnement
• Fixez les deux ventouses (3) en les mettant dans les orifices de fixation de l‘attache (2) puis effectuez une rotation de 90°.
• Tournez la molette de réglage (4) jusqu’à ce que la température désirée apparaisse sous la flèche (5).
• Appuyez légèrement l’attache (2) du chauffage contre la vitre à un endroit propre et adéquat de l’aquarium.
• Faites passer le câble d’alimentation (7) vers le haut de manière à le faire sortir de l‘aquarium et évitez de le mettre en contact
avec des arêtes saillantes. Veuillez prévoir une boucle d‘égouttement en dehors de l’aquarium pour le câble d’alimentation (7)
de manière à ce que si le câble goutte, l‘eau ne pénètre pas dans la prise secteur. Branchez la fiche secteur (8) à fond dans la
prise secteur.
• Lorsque le voyant de contrôle (6) s’allume, l’appareil chauffe. Si après un certain temps, (voyant de contrôle (6) éteint), la
température désirée ne parvient pas à être atteinte, corrigez le cas échéant la température sur la molette de réglage (4).
Veuillez noter qu’il faut un certain temps jusqu‘à ce que la température de l’eau soit réglée. Les indications de température sur
la molette de réglage (4) n’ont qu’une valeur indicative, la température de l’eau doit être contrôlée à l’aide d’un thermomètre.
Le fait de devoir modifier le réglage de la température au bout d’un certain temps d’utilisation est normal et ne constitue pas
un motif de réclamation.
6. Nettoyage
Si le chauffage devait être recouvert d’algues ou de calcaire, veuillez le nettoyer à l’aide
d’un chiffon doux ou d’une éponge. Avant le nettoyage, débranchez impérativement la fiche
secteur (8) et laissez refroidir le chauffage un certain temps (env. 30 min.) avant de le sortir de l‘eau.

1. Foreword
These operating instructions explain how to handle the 25 / 50 / 100 watt Nano ThermoCompact safely, hereafter referred to as a heater. Read these operating instructions fully before installing and using the heater
for the first time. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions. Please keep the operating instructions close to the heater at all times. Please pass on the operating instructions if you sell the heater or pass it
on in any other way.
2. Correct use
The heater is used for heating the aquarium and keeping the water temperature constant. It is only intended for indoor use at room temperature. Correct use also includes observation of and compliance with these
operating instructions, especially the safety instructions. Use for any other or additional purpose or unauthorised repairs or modifications shall be deemed improper. Improper use can lead to material damage and personal
injury. Dennerle GmbH assumes no liability for damage caused by improper use.
3. Safety instructions
• Check whether the voltage stated on the data plate matches the local voltage. For use with alternating current only,220-240 V – 50/60 Hz.
• Ensure the mains supply is protected by a residual current circuit breaker (maximum residual current 30 mA). If in doubt, ask your electrician.
• For indoor use only
• Always disconnect the heater from the mains (remove plug) before placing your hands in the water, draining the water or cleaning the aquarium! This also applies to all other electrical equipment in or on the
aquarium.
• The mains plug must be accessible at all times after installing the heater.
• Always ensure good flow around the heater by installing it near the filter or outflow.
•
Risk of burning:
the heater becomes hot when in use. Do not touch it with bare skin. Never switch it on outside the aquarium.
•
Risk of overheating:
the heater must be completely under water at all times. The maximum submersion depth is 80 cm.
• The heater cable and all cables leading from the aquarium must be fitted with a drip loop so that any water running down cannot reach the equipment or the mains socket.
• Deposits of calcium and other substances on the heater may impair its heat output and function. If the heater becomes dirty, clean it immediately.
• The heater is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory, or mental capacity, lack of experience, and/or lack of knowledge, unless said persons are supervised for
their own safety by another responsible person or are given instructions by this person on how to use the equipment. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heater.
• Never open the housing.
• Check the power cable before setting up the heater and when carrying out maintenance. If there is any damage, remove the mains plug immediately, set the heater aside and dispose of it once it has cooled
down.
• The heater must not be disposed of with normal household waste. It should be disposed of at your local refuse centre.

5. Setup and operation
• Attach the two suction cups (3) by inserting them into the fixing holes on the mount (2) and rotating them through 90°.
• Turn the control dial (4) until the desired temperature is above the arrow (5).
• Gently press the heater with the mount (2) onto the glass in a suitable, clean location in the aquarium.
• Guide the power cable (7) upwards out of the aquarium and avoid laying it over any sharp edges. Outside the aquarium the
power cable (7) must be fitted with a drip loop so that any water running down cannot reach the mains socket. Insert the
mains plug (8) into the mains socket as far as it will go.
• When the indicator light (6) is illuminated the heater is running. If your desired temperature is not reached (indicator light
(6) off) after a reasonable time, adjust the dial as necessary. Please note that it takes some time for the temperature in the
water to adjust. The temperatures on the control dial (4) are intended as a guide; check the water temperature with a ther-
mometer. The possible need to adjust the temperature after a certain period of operation is normal and does not constitute
grounds for complaint.
6. Cleaning
If there is a build-up of algae or calcium deposits on the heater, please clean it with a soft cloth or sponge. Before cleaning you must remove the mains plug (8) and leave the heater to cool for a reasonable time (approx. 30
mins) before removing it from the water.

In the event of a product being faulty, you have a warranty claim against your dealer in accordance with current statutory regulations.
Dennerle is nonetheless liable for damage caused to other property as a result of a fault in the product and for any resulting personal injury in accordance with the Product Liability Act.
Guarantee
Dennerle grants the buyer a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase.
The guarantee covers manufacturing and material defects. During the guarantee period, Dennerle will replace and/or repair any defective parts free of charge. This is subject to the equipment having been used for its
intended purpose.
During the guarantee period, the equipment must only be opened by Dennerle after-sales service, otherwise the guarantee claim is void.
