1. You can adjust the charge current from 2A to the maximum. Each
adjustment level is 0.5A.
2. If you need to modify the charge current default setting and low battery
shutdown default setting, please contact your local dealer or service
personnel.
3. Only qualified service personnel can perform wiring and installation for
external batteries. For external battery installation and wiring, please
contact Delta service personnel. The Q’ty of external batteries in one string
could be 22 PCS, 24 PCS or 26 PCS. When 22 PCS external batteries are
installed for one string, please note the following:

would like to use the internal batteries and the external batteries at the
same time, please make sure (1) the Q’ty of external batteries in one string
is 24 PCS and (2) the voltage difference between the internal batteries and
the external batteries is less than 5Vdc.

Only use the same type of batteries from the same supplier. Never use old, new and dif-
ferent Ah batteries at the same time.

The number of batteries must meet UPS requirements.

Do not connect the batteries in reverse.

Use a voltage meter to measure whether the total voltage, after the external battery cabi-
net connection, is around 12.5Vdc × the total number of batteries.

When connecting the external battery cabinet to the UPS, it is compulsory to install an ap-
propriate non-fuse DC breaker and fast-acting fuses (when short-circuit occurs, the melt-
ing current must be 5~6 times of the battery fuse’s rating current).
NOTE:
Recharge time will be extended; take note of charger capacity.
