.
y
The installation place must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
y
Ensure that the installation area is big enough for maintenance and ventilation. Since the
fans of the UPS ventilate from the front to the rear, it is recommended that you place the
external battery cabinet next to the UPS and:
1. Keep a distance of 39.4" (100 cm) from the front of the UPS and the external battery
cabinet for maintenance and ventilation.
2. Keep a distance of 19.7" (50 cm) from the rear of the UPS and the external battery
cabinet for maintenance and ventilation.
y
Keep the installation area’s temperature around 32 ~ 86°F (0 ~ 30°C) and humidity be-
low 95% (non-condensing). The optimum operating temperature for the batteries is 77°F
(25°C). Please consider the derating values when operating the UPS over 3280 ft (1000
meters). The highest operating altitude is 6561 ft (2000 meters) above sea level.
WARNING:
Do not use air conditioners or similar equipment to blow into the rear side of the
UPS and hinder ventilation.
