LARM SETTINGS
Command
Description
P
LOWBATTALARM
Prints the setting of the battery level below which the data logger will
stop all activities and goes low power mode.
LOWBATTALARM v
Sets to value v (in volts) the battery level below which the data logger
will stop all activities and goes in low power mode. The value should
be between 11.0 and 13.0 V.
The data logger sends an SMS alarm when the battery level drops to
(v + 0.3) V. The SMS is sent every 12 hours if the battery level is
still low.
The data logger will operate normally when the battery level rises
above the set value.
Note: if a value below 11 V is set, the battery level alarm is disabled
(for stations with mains power supply).
SETALARM n
Prints the setting of the alarm condition of index n (n = 0,1,2,3).
If the alarm condition is not set, the data logger responds "Alarm
ID:n NOT SET|".
SETALARM n b
Enables or disables the alarm condition of index n (n = 0,1,2,3). If
b=ENABLE the alarm is enabled, if b=DISABLE the alarm is disabled.
SETALARM n m cc sp d r
Sets the alarm condition of index n (n=0,1,2,3).
m is the index of the measure to control. For a list of the indices, see
the command MEASUREMAP.
cc is the alarm condition:
cc=GT
Alarm if measure > threshold (condition Greater Than)
cc=LT
Alarm if measure < threshold (condition Lower Than)
cc=ER
Alarm if there is a measurement error
sp is the alarm threshold value (Set Point).
d indicates the number of seconds (0 to 240) the alarm condition
must persist before raising the alarm. If d=0, the alarm is trig-
gered as soon as the alarm condition occurs. If d>0 and the
alarm condition disappears before the lapse of time, the alarm is
not generated.
r indicates after how many minutes (5 to 240) the SMS alert of index
n is sent again.
All command parameters are required.
Example: the command "SETALARM 0 0 GT 14.000 30 30" sets the
alarm condition of index 0 (n=0) so that the alarm is reported if the
battery voltage (measurement of index m=0) becomes greater (cc=GT)
than 14.000 V (sp = 14.000). The alarm is signaled if the battery volt-
age remains greater than 14.000 V for more than 30 seconds (d=30)
and the sending of the SMS alarm of index 0 is repeated every 30
minutes (r = 30).
RELAYONALARM n
Prints if the alarm relay must indicate the alarm condition number n
(n=0,1,2,3).
RELAYONALARM n b
Sets whether the alarm relay must report the alarm condition num-
ber n (n = 0,1,2,3).
If b = Y, the relay signals the alarm condition number n.
If b = N, the relay does not report the alarm condition number n.
You can report more alarm conditions by repeating the command
with different values of n. The alarm is signaled by the relay if at
least one of the conditions enabled occur.
RELAYONBATTERY
Prints if the alarm relay must report the condition of low battery.
RELAYONBATTERY b
Sets whether the alarm relay must report the condition of low bat-
tery.
If b=Y, the relay indicates the low level battery status.
If b=N, the relay does not indicate the low level battery status.
