3.8 Installing internal battery

Electronic components are sensitive to electrostatic charge.
Therefore, discharge any electrostatic before opening the
device to replace to install or change I/O modules. We recom-
mend wearing an anti-static wrist band (static discharge wrist
band) and to carry out the work on a conductive surface.

A lithium coin cell battery CR2450 with 3V/575 mAh is used. The battery has a
lifespan of at least 10 years.

Removal

1. Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
2. Remove all connectors from the device front. Leave the cables that are

attached to the terminals of the terminal blocks.
