The Switch Information block, as outlined in the graphic below, displays the 
current system information:.

The following is displayed in this block:

•

IP Address 

— Displays the device management IP address. 

To configure whether the IP address of the device will be static or dynamic, 

click on the Edit icon by the 

IP Address 

field. 

If the device is in L2, the following fields are displayed:

•

IP Address Source

 — Indicates how an IP address is assigned to the 

device. Select one of the following options:

Static IP

 — Assign the IP address of the device by entering the Static 

IP Properties.

Dynamic IP (DHCP)

 — The IP address of the device will be assigned 

by a DHCP server.
