Removing the base cover

Follow the procedure in 

Before working inside your computer

2 

Remove the 

SIM tray (WWAN models)

.

3 

To remove the base cover:

a Loosen the 10 M2.5 captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer .

b Pry the base cover from the upper-right edge [1 ] and continue to pry the outer edges of the base cover in clockwise direction 

[2].

NOTE: 

You may need a plastic scribe to pry the base cover from the edge [1].
