Removing the optional 2.5 inch hard drive cage cover
Prerequisites

1.
Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3.
Remove the 2.5 inch hard-drive cage. For more information, see removing the optional 2.5 inch
hard-drive cage
4.
Keep the Phillips #1 screwdriver ready.
Steps
1.
Remove the screws securing the hard drive cage cover to the hard-drive cage.
2.
Slide the hard-drive cage cover toward the front of the hard-drive cage to disengage it from the slots
on the hard-drive cage.
3.
Lift the hard-drive cage cover away from the hard drive cage.
