Installing the coin-cell battery

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

About this task

Steps

1. Place the coin-cell battery into its slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the connector on the system board.
