DisplayPort/Mini-DisplayPort
DisplayPort is a digital display interface that defines a royalty-free, digital audio/video interconnect. DisplayPort allows you to connect a computer to a
display or home-theater system.
Mini-DisplayPort is a smaller version of the DisplayPort. Dell provides Mini-DisplayPorts in place of DisplayPorts on the Dell Inspiron Mini series of computers.
NOTE:
DisplayPorts and Mini-DisplayPorts vary in size.
To connect devices that support DisplayPort to a Mini-DisplayPort connector, you must use a
Mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter.
