| Camera Module

Replacing the Camera Module

Procedure

Use the alignment posts on the display cover to place the camera module

in position.

Ensure that the camera module is secured under the tab on the display cover.

Connect the camera cable to the connector on the camera module.

Replace the screw that secures the camera module to the display cover.

Turn the display panel over and place it on the display cover.

Align the screw holes on the display panel with the screw holes on the

display cover.

Replace the screws that secure the display panel to the display cover.

Postrequisites

Replace the display bezel. See "Replacing the Display Bezel" on page 38.

Replace the display assembly. See "Replacing the Display Assembly" on page 37.

Replace the palm rest. See "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 31.

Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 18.

Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 16.

Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 13.

Follow the instructions in "After Working Inside Your Computer" on page 9.
