Steps

1. Disconnect the left-fan cable from the system board.
2. Remove the two (M2x6) screws that secure the left fan to the system board.
3. Lift the left fan off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
