Dell EMC Connectrix EC-1700 Cabinet Installation and Setup Manual

Installing Directors into the EC-1700 Cabinet

Figure 49

Upper left shelf bracket and clip nuts

Save the 14 U baffle in a safe place in case it is needed in the future to
re-configure the cabinet back to just one director in the lower
position. Do not put it on top of the cabinet or MDS directors or
anywhere within the cabinet.

The shelf-brackets for the upper position will both be installed from
the factory onto the right hand side vertical NEMA rails. After
removing the upper 14 U baffle you will need to move the upper left
side shelf-bracket from the top right mounting rails in the cabinet and
mount it to the left hand vertical NEMA rails.
