Steps
1. To install the intrusion switch, insert the intrusion switch into the intrusion switch slot and slide the switch into place.
2. Connect the intrusion switch cable to the system board.

Removing the control panel assembly
Prerequisites

support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow
the safety instructions that are shipped with your product.
1. Ensure that you follow the Safety instructions on page 42.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system on page 43.
3. Disconnect all peripherals connected to the control panel assembly.
4. Remove the bezel.
5. Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.
