Usage Information To configure a COMMUNITY attribute, use the

command in ROUTE-
MAP mode.
Before using this command, you must execute the
clear ip bgp
command.
neighbor shutdown
Disable a BGP neighbor or peer group.
C9000 Series
Syntax
neighbor {
ip-address
|
peer-group-name
} shutdown
To enable a disabled neighbor or peer group, use the
neighbor {
ip-address
|
peer-group-name
} no shutdown
command.
Parameters
ip-address
Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to disable or enable all routers
within the peer group.
Defaults
Enabled (that is, BGP neighbors and peer groups are disabled.)
