Next steps

Install the cooling shroud.

Follow the procedure listed in the After working inside your system section.

Enter System Setup to confirm that the battery is operating properly.

Enter the correct time and date in the System Setup's
Time
and
Date
fields.

Exit System Setup.

To test the freshly installed battery, leave the sled disconnected for at least an hour.

Reconnect the sled after an hour has passed.

Enter System Setup and if the time and date are still incorrect, see the Getting help section.

System board
A system board (also known as the motherboard) is the main printed circuit board found in computers. The system board allows
communication between many of the crucial electronic components of the computer, such as the central processing unit (CPU) and
memory, and also provides connectors for other peripherals. Unlike a backplane, a system board contains significant number subsystems
such as the processor expansion cards, and other components.
