Steps

Press the orange release tab and lift the cooling fan to disconnect the fan from the connector on the system board.

NOTE:

 The procedure to remove standard, high-performance (silver grade), or high-performance (gold grade) fan is same.

WARNING:

 Ensure not to tilt or rotate the cooling fan while removing from the system.
