5.5 Viewing the flight plan elevation
To ensure that the aircraft stays within its safe capabilities, tap
SHOW ELEVATION
to view the elevation
profile.
A graph is displayed that shows the ground elevation, flight height and, if set, the geofence height.
The
SHOW ELEVATION
button turns red when there are issues with the flight height. For example
when the flight is set too low or if the slope of the ground is steeper than the rate of climb of the
aircraft.
When the
SHOW ELEVATION
button is red the user must Tap on it to analyse the reason for the
warning. The following elevation graph is shown:
In case of long flight plans (requiring more than one flight), it is possible to check the elevation profile
of the subsequent flights (after the current flight) by tapping the FULL FLIGHT PLAN tab. This allows
you to anticipate issues that may appears on subsequent flights when resuming flight plan.
