Application usage tracking
By default, the application gathers application usage statistics in background.
The collected data remains anonymous. Delair uses these global statistics only to know which features
are used and to improve user experience. For more information relating to Delair’s collection, use,
storage and disclosure of your personal information, please read our data privacy policy (as expressed
in our Privacy Statement at
http://delair.aero/legal-notice-2/
).
Usage tracking is very important for us to understand usage patterns and effectively improve the
product, so Delair highly recommends that you leave this option enabled.
Flight statistics
Allow Delair Flight Deck to automatically upload flight statistics to MyDelair.
Flight statistics do not contain sensitive data. Collecting and analyzing flight statistics is important for
Delair to gather information on how the aircraft is used and to effectively improve the product. Delair
recommends that you enable this option. You will be able to view your personal flight statistics on the
MyDelair platform.
Flight statistics are transferred over an encrypted connection, when Internet connectivity is available.
Flight logs
Allow Delair Flight Deck to automatically upload flight logs to MyDelair.
In order to continuously improve Delair products, and to provide the best possible experience to the
user, Delair gathers information on aircraft behavior by collecting and analyzing flight logs.
Please note that flight logs contain geolocation data (GPS coordinates and time stamps) which might
be considered as sensitive data in some countries. Local regulations may also impose restrictions on
sharing and exporting geographic information.
Delair Support or Delair-authorized third parties may access these flight logs for product improvement
analysis or troubleshooting issues that might have occurred in-flight.
Flight logs are transferred over an encrypted connection, when Internet connectivity is available
If sharing this information with Delair is possible, your enabling this option is appreciated.
Rapid climb
Enable/disable the
Rapid climb
button.
The
Rapid climb
button allows the user to let the aircraft perform a rapid climb of 30 meters (98 feet)
in order to avoid bird attacks on the aircraft.
By default, the button is disabled. We recommended to enable the
Rapid climb
button only when
needed, for instance when flying in areas where birds of prey are common.
