Introduction
1.1 The UX11 system
The Delair UX11 aircraft is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that is operated remotely.
The aircraft follows a pre-programmed path where takeoff, flight, and landing require minimal human
intervention.
It is equipped with an industrial camera with optional PPK activation for survey-grade results down
to 1 cm precision and can cover operationnally 1.2 km² (300 acres) with 1.7 cm GSD at 122 m flight
height.
The aircraft uses BVLOS-ready communications. The mobile connectivity via a 3G network allows for
unlimited range. Additionally, the
Delair Link
radio link can also be used for communication between
the aircraft and the tablet.
The aircraft can perform precise steep (30 degrees) takeoffs and landings for use in confined areas.
Landings are executed at low speed through the use of distance-measurement technology.
The easy-to-use Android™
Delair Flight Deck
application with its modern user interface allows for
quick mission planning (such as indication of no-fly zones) and monitoring the flight. A pre-flight
checklist helps you to prepare the UX11 aircraft for a successful flight.
If required, the operator can intervene to change the flight path or to land the aircraft. In case of
communications failure or loss of GNSS signal, a pre-programmed intervention is automatically
activated to re-establish signal loss or to terminate the flight early and complete a safe landing.

The resulting data is useful for a range of applications, including:
• Mapping and Geographic Information System (GIS)
• Surveying
• Construction
• Environmental and conservation
• Surface mining
• Aggregates
• Public land management
• Landfill management
