15 Taking the DEGERtracker out of service
15.1
Disassembly
DANGER!
Danger to life caused by electric current!
Danger to life caused by electric shock when contacting live components.
Before starting work, switch off the electric power supply and secure it against accidental
switching on.
Work in the electrical system must only be carried out by qualified professionals, who have been
properly instructed for the work to be performed.

Use a conventional (12 to 26 V DC) rechargeable battery to move the DEGERtracker to horizontal position
with the help of the CCB. Connect both wires of the elevation drive with the (+) and (-) poles of the
rechargeable battery to do so. Should the DEGERtracker move towards the inclined position, you must
interchange the wires at the (+) and (-) poles on the rechargeable battery.
2.
Disconnect the DEGERtracker from the electric power supply.
WARNING!
Danger of injury due to improperly performed disassembly work!
Improperly executed disassembly work can lead to severe injuries and considerable material
damage.
Ensure sufficient assembly space before starting work.
Ensure correct disassembly.
Have disassembly work only performed by persons who have the qualifications specified in the
individual chapters of the assembly instructions.
Take care of sharp edged parts.
Wear hard hat, safety gloves and safety shoes.
WARNING!
Danger to life caused by suspended loads!
If heavy parts swing out and fall down they can cause severe or even fatal injuries.
Never step under or into the slewing range of suspended loads.
Move loads only under supervision.
Use only lifting gear and lifting tackle of appropriate capacity for the weight of the component to
be lifted.
Do not use any cracked or torn lifting tackle, like ropes or belts.
Take care of eccentric centre of gravity.
Components may only be removed and lifted by persons who are entitled to work with the
required lifting gear.
Wear hard hat, safety shoes and safety gloves.
Disassembly of the DEGERtracker must be carried out in reverse order to the description in the chapter
"Assembly". Strict compliance with the listed safety regulations is mandatory.
