Grounding the system
The stranded copper wire needed for this purpose is fastened to the rear gearbox cover with a cable strap.
1.
Remove the cable strap from the coiled up stranded copper wire.
2.
Untighten the nut M8 from the already pre-assembled bolt
connection on the stranded copper wire and place it safely to the
side together with the first washer.
3.
Insert the stranded copper wire with the bolt M8x40 from the
bottom into the one of the two free bores in the mast flange and
fasten it with the nut M8 and the washer from above.
Tightening torque: 24 Nm
4.
Fasten the rear gearbox cover again with the four bolts
M8x12 and one washer each.
Tightening torque: 24 Nm

Connecting the elevation drive
1.
Pull the cables for EMO through the cable clamps on the
rotating head.
Before fastening the cable clamps make sure the cable
between EMO and clamp is long enough to compensate the
movement of the EMO.
2.
Push the cable down through the opening in the rear section
of the rotating head.
3.
Open the cover on the EC-6 and lay it safely to the side. Connect the cable of the EMO to terminal 1
(strand 2 or blue) and 2 (strand 1 or brown), as described in the assembly instructions
“MLD Control EC-6
with CCB”.
4.
Close the cover of the EC-6.
