Filling the siphon during installation

The flue gas exhaust fitting hole at the top of the boiler has a plastic disc that keeps the heat exchanger locked during transport. 

Before removing this disc, fill the trap by pouring water into the hole (A) until it exits through the trap outlet (B) as shown in the 

figure. When filling is complete, remove the plastic disc (D) using the four clips (C) and install the flue gas tower.

Fill the siphon by pouring water into the hole (A) until water starts flowing 

out of the siphon drain (B) as shown in the figure.

Caution

We recommend that you pay particular attention when filling the 

trap as illustrated in figure (A). Any water in the air intake fitting 

could damage the appliance.

Caution

This method for filling the siphon is to be used only when installing 

the appliance. To fill the siphon during maintenance operations 

see "Cleaning the siphon" in the "Maintenance" paragraph.

Draining the installation

The drain cock is inside the boiler (in the lower left-hand section). To 

access the cock and drain it, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the front panel from the boiler and turn the control panel 

downwards, as shown in the adjacent figure.

2. Slowly open the cock (E) anti-clockwise to drain the boiler and the 

system. Do not use tools.

3. Close the cock by turning it clockwise, without using excessive force.
