8. Packaging

Cor-émail electric water heaters are supplied in cardboard packa-
ging. They are protected by moulded polystyrene packing pieces
(except 400 and 500 l floor-standing models, which are delivered on
a wooden pallet with cardboard strapping).

The table below provides the dimensions and weights of each hea-
ter model after packaging.

Optional features:

- For 10, 15 and 30 litre Compact heaters: mixing taps for inlet controlled heaters
- For 75 -200 litre standard vertical heaters: stand for standard vertical wall-mounted heaters

7. Assembly of the insulation connector delivered with the water heater

- standard wall-mounted water heaters - p. 4

The connection of a water heater to copper mains pipes must be
done using the intercalation of the insulation connector, if this is
delivered with the appliance, or with reduced or equal male/female
sleeves in cast iron, if this is not the case. The connector provided
is intended to be connected to the hot water outlet, the safety
control unit being connected directly to the cold water inlet pipe on
the water heater. If this is not the case and copper mains pipes form
the junction between the cold water pipe and the safety control unit,
it is essential that a sleeve is also intercalated. For example,
sleeves in malleable cast iron may be used (Right – Right 270). If
the threading on pipes not fitted with this protection is corroded, our
guarantee may not be invoked.
