Commissionning
Firstly, fill the tank with domestic hot water.
Domestic hot water circuit
1. If need be, flush the domestic circuit and fill the tank through the
cold water inlet tube.
2. Carefully degas the DHW tank and the distribution network in
order to eliminate noises and hammering caused by trapped air
moving in the pipes during draw-off.
To do so:
- Completely fill the DHW tank via the cold water inlet pipe, leaving
the hot water valve open. Only reclose this valve when the flow is
regular and there are no noises or hammering in the pipes.
- Then successively degas all the hot water pipes by opening the
corresponding valves.
These operations also make it possible to rinse and clean the
hot water pipes located at the DHW tank outlet.
3. Degas the primary (heating) circuit at the highest point with a
suitable bleed valve designed for that purpose (not supplied with
the hot water tank).
4. Check the safety devices (particularly the valve or safety unit),
referring to the instructions provided with these components.
During the heating process, a certain amount of water may
flow through the valve or safety unit; this is caused by
water expansion. This phenomenon is completely normal
and must in no event be hindered.
Heating circuit
The heating circuit (boiler and tank exchanger) must be filled using
the drainage tap to the rear of the tank. When filling the heating
circuit, correctly bleed the exchanger on the domestic water calorifier
as follows::
1. Unscrew the cap on the automatic bleed valve by a few turns.
2. Ensure that the non-return angle valve is in the automatic
position.
3. Ensure that the drainage tap is in the open position.
4. Fill the low flow heating circuit using the drainage tap in order to
favor the bleed.
5. After filling the installation, close the drainage tap.
6. Unstick the load pump in necessary: to do this, unscrew the
protection cap in front of the pump and insert a screwdriver into
the slit (V) on the pump center line. Turn several times to the right
and left. Cold run the pump for a few minutes to enable priming.
The heating circuit will be bled by the automatic bleed valve
delivered with the appliance at the highest point of the
installation.
