Streaming 

The  NVS-31  provides  RTSP  and  RTMP  streaming  protocols  for  use  on  Adobe  Media  Servers,  Wowza 
Media  Servers,  software  video  players  such  as  QuickTime  and  VLC,  or  any  of  the  popular  Content 
Delivery Networks (CDNs), such as YouTube Live and Ustream.  

RTSP Mode 

In RTSP mode, the NVS-31 acts as a streaming server to which clients can connect via a media server, 
software  video  player, or  CDN  that  supports  the  RTSP  streaming  protocol.  If  you  want  to  stream  to 
more  than  a  handful  of  clients,  we  recommend  using  a  dedicated  media  server  to  send  streams  to 
clients.  

To  configure  the  RTSP  stream  server,  select  the 

Encoder  Source

  first  and  then  enter  the  respective 

port numbers. To start streaming, simply click the “

Start Stream

” button after the server is configured.
