Alarm based issues

A. Symptom

B. Problem

C. Cure

Alarm sounds for no apparent reason.

Machine or alarm problem.

Disarm the alarm using the transmitter. If
triggered, on disarm the alarm will sound one
long “beep” and then a series of between
one and seven “beeps”.
Refer to the owner manual diagnostic chart
for the cause of the trigger.
Return to dealer for adjustment and tell them
the fault code.

The alarm does not trigger when moved

Q. Is the alarm armed fully?
A. Yes
Movement sensor or nudge needs adjusting to be
more sensitive
A. No

Return the machine to your dealer for
movement or shock sensor adjustment

Arm the alarm by pressing Grey button
before alarm self immobilises.

The alarm is too sensitive

Movement or nudge sensor needs adjusting down

Return the machine to your dealer for
movement or shock sensor adjustment

The alarm has armed but will not disarm
using the transmitter.

Possible transmitter or signal block problem.

Refer to trouble shooting chart for transmitter
problems.

The alarm has been armed as a full alarm
and has triggered instantly also the
indicators are not flashing.

Alarm main power supply has failed.

Refer to the certificate of installation for
system fuse location and check fuse. If the
fuse is intact, check that the alarm has a
good positive supply and that the earth
connections show good continuity.

The indicators on the motorcycle do not flash
when the alarm is manually armed or
disarmed.
