3.1.4 C-Box

Layout

In this layout the OM-DRAGON™ cradle is connected by a dedicated cable using the
RS232 interface to a C-Box connection box as part of a fixed scanner network. This
allows the flexibility of a hand-held reading station integrated into a variety of fixed
scanning applications so that all readers (both fixed and hand-held), in the system
provide communications to the Host.

The various C-Box models provide many interface types for the Host system such as
RS232, RS485, Profibus.
