Average
This selection enables/disables measurement averaging. When you are measuring irregular surfaces, you
may need to average several scans of the sample to get a repeatable measurement. The maximum number
of scans is nine (9).
To enable/disable
Measurement Averaging
:
1. Using the black navigation button, navigate to the
Option
s page and select it.
2. Using the
black button
, navigate to the
Average
field and select it.
3. Using the
black navigation button,
select the number of scans to average. The
Average
field
updates.

AutoSave
The software can be programmed to automatically save every measurement. To enable/disable this feature:
1. Using the black navigation button on the instrument, navigate to the live
bar, and select
Options
.
2. Navigate to
the Autosave
field and select it. The field will automatically update.
