Print
Use the Printer Setting menu Print options to control the quality of the printing.
Option Description
SettingsGroupPurpose Describes the purpose of a settings group. Use it to state the reason for
creating a settings group.
ApplyBendRemedy Enable or disable the bend remedy. Caution: Do not enable if you are
using smart cards.
Default: Disabled
Enable the bend remedy if completed cards are bowed. The card type
material can affect the amount of bowing.
BacksideCooling Allows the card to cool between transferring the image to the front
side of the card and the back side of the card. This setting is valid only
during double-sided printing.
Default: Disabled

Enable BacksideCooling if cards are warped as they are ejected.

Disable BacksideCooling to improve print speed.
BendRemedyRetransfer
RollerTemp Increase or decrease the temperature of the bend remedy roller.
Range: –5 to 0 special units
Default: 0 special units

Increase the temperature value if using the bend remedy results in
concave cards.

Decrease the temperature value if using the bend remedy results in
convex cards.
Determine the BendRemedyRetransferRollerTemp value to use based
on the card type material and the BendRemedyVelocity. (Bend remedy
velocity is a WebService setting. Contact your service provider for
assistance.) Print sample cards to determine the appropriate settings
for your card type.
