Connecting Voltage Inputs

The way you connect voltage inputs depends on the channel type you are using. This section
describes how to connect voltage inputs to thermocouple input channels, RTD input channels,
and voltage input channels.

Connecting Voltage Inputs to Thermocouple Channels

Figure 17

shows how to connect a differential voltage input to a thermocouple input channel

on the DT9871U, DT9871, or DT9874 instrument.

Note:

On the standard DT9874 instrument, channels 0 to 15 correspond to the thermocouple

input channels.
