Chapter 4

Testing Single-Value Digital Input

To verify that the board can read a single digital input value, do the following:

Connect a digital input to line 0 of the digital input port on the DT9850 Series module.
Refer to

page 39

for an example of how to connect a digital input.

In the Quick DataAcq application, choose

Digital Input

from the

Acquisition

menu.

Select the appropriate DT9850 Series module from the

Board

list box.

Select the digital input port by clicking

Port B

Click

Get

The application displays the value of each digital input line in port B on the screen in both text and
graphical form.
