How to replace filters and reset filter alarm
Introduction This section describes how to replace filters
and reset the filter alarm.
The example shows an active filter alarm before
the unit has stopped due to extra 1000 hours
operation after filter alarm:
When? The filters need to be replaced when the filter alarm buzzer starts to sound (acoustic
signal). The filter alarm will be activated after 3000 hours’ use, which corresponds to
approx. 4 months.
Important

Switch off all power supply before working on the unit

Make sure that all work has been performed before switching on the power again

Replace filters Follow these steps to replace the filters:
Step Action
1 Reset the filter alarm (see instruction next page)
2 Switch off power to the unit
3 Open the front cover by loosening four thumbscrews. Lift off the front cover
completely
4 Remove the old filter by pulling it out
5 Insert the new filter, make sure that it is correctly positioned
6 Close the front cover and switch on power again
