Relay Module
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
T
his practice decribes the 46032-16 Relay module and sup-
ports installation and maintenance to the change-out level.
The 46032-16 Relay Module uses 16 Form-A (normally open)
relays to control external switching operations. Each relay is
operated by the presence of a ground.
The front panel provides 16 LED indicators to visually monitor
the internal relay activity.
This module operates on -21 to -56 VDC input power.
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

he 46032-16 Relay Module functional schematic is shown in
Fig. 1. Refer to Table A for the individual relay pin-outs.
Relays K1 through K16 have Form-A (normally open) contacts
which provide controlled switching for external applications.
Relay activity is monitored separately by 16 LEDs on the front
panel which light when the corresponding circuit is energized.
Each circuit provides a constant current source for the relay
through the resistor, zener diode, and transistor over the DC
voltage range of -21 to -56 VDC.
