12.3 Heating circuit, temperature control H 328/35/42 ECL 300/C66
The H 328/H 335/H 342 substations are supplied with a 2-way
valve VS2 or VM2 and an electrical actuator AMV 10 or 20, which in
combination with the ECL controller controls the heating circuit.
The controller closes when set max. flow is exceeded.
A built-in differential pressure controller AVP-F protects the actua-
tor from too high differential pressure (see item 12.3.1).
The electrical actuator has undergone a functional test from fac-
tory. In case of operating disturbances the actuator can be closed
manually.

12.3.1 Differential pressure controller
The self-acting differential pressure controller AVP-F reduces the
fluctuating pressure in the district heating network to a small
and invariable operating pressure in the substation and thereby
ensures the best possible operating conditions.
The control valve opens on falling differential pressure to main-
tain constant differential pressure, and closes on rising differential
pressure.
The differential pressure controller is preset from factory and
should not be adjusted afterwards.
