The cabinets are fitted with a 4-pole Phoenix connector socket
(Type: DFK PC 4/4 GF) using the pin assignment 1:+, 2:–, 3:+,
4:–. Pins 1/3 and 2/4 are linked. A corresponding Phoenix plug
(Type: SPC 5/4) is enclosed with the cabinet.
Using pin 1/2 as the input, pin 3/4 allows for direct connection to
a second cabinet.
Phoenix specifications and recommendations
The cabinet comes with a Phoenix plug (Type: SPC 5/4 Push-in
spring connector) which is already connected to the corresponding
Phoenix socket of the cabinet.
The plug allows for direct wire connection without any tools
depending on the cross section and conductor structure.

Ferrule without plastic sleeve
d&b LoadMatch
With the d&b four channel amplifier platform, the LoadMatch
function enables the amplifier to electrically compensate for the
properties of the loudspeaker cable used without the need for an
additional sense wire. For applicable loudspeakers, LoadMatch is
therefore independent of the connector type used.
WR option (Weather Resistance)
A number of d&b loudspeakers are available in special options
suitable for different types of installed applications and
environmental conditions. The following options are available for
the ALi60/ALi90 loudspeaker:
▪ Weather resistant (WR): This option is suitable for outdoor use.
The cabinets have an impact and weather protected black PCP
(Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish.
▪ Special version stadium (SVS): This option is suitable for outdoor
use, especially in stadiums. The cabinets are mechanically
supported by metal brackets which are specifically designed for
the respective application.
▪ Sea water resistant (SWR): This option is suitable for outdoor
use, especially in wet and acid or salty environments.
