Troubleshooting
10. Exchange the motor leads connected to channel 2 until you find that
the motor back EMF is 180° out of phase with the hall signal in the
positive direction only (6.2.3 Hall Effect and Motor Phasing Diagram).
Label the motor lead connected to the probe as A and the lead
connected to the reference as B. Label the remaining lead C.
11. Connect channel 1 to pin 10, reference to RTN, and connect channel 2
to motor lead B, reference to lead C. Push the stage in the positive
direction and observe the waveform. Verify that the back EMF is 180°
out of phase with the Hall effect signal.
