Program Editor

The

Program Editor

features the standard windows editing features,Cut,Copy,

and Paste,plus Send,Run and Stop.Undo,Delete and Select All are available by
pressing the right mouse button,and an online HELP file may be reached via the F1
key or selected at the bottom of the editor.

The drop down menu box (A) in the upper left hand corner shows the number
and name of the currently active program,plus a list of up to 399 more programs.
When the entire file is downloaded to the SmartDrive,these program numbers cor-
respond to the program numbers the controller uses for binary and BCD program
selections.

P ro gram comments are placed between bra ckets {comments}.These comments are
not downloaded to the Smart D ri ve Total pro gram length, not including comments, i s
limited to 1024 by t e s .Total file length without comments is 8k for B8961 or B8962,
or 30k for B8961-30k or B8962-30k (expanded memory option).The Send button
will send the viewed pro gram (only one viewed) to the dri ve . Run will command
the dri ve to execute the viewed pro gram and Stop will halt pro gram exe c u t i o n .
