11 Digital Image Shift
At a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels (720p), the “Digital Image Shift” function allows for a
subsequent fine alignment of the image section since at this resolution only a certain part
of the sensor area is used for image capturing, but not the entire sensor area.
At 720p, the used sensor area can be digitally shifted up or down (vertical) by 120 pixels,
and the monitored image section can be fine-tuned.
The “Digital Image Shift” function is particularly useful for adjusting the selected image
section (at 720p) if it does not exactly meet your requirements once the camera has been
installed.
Click
Digital image Shift ...
in the configuration menu.
FIg. 11-1
In the example above, the defined image section does not exactly meet the requirements
after the camera’s installation.
The garage (on the left side of the illustrated image) is only half captured by the image
capturing sensor.
However, using the arrow buttons the image section can easily be shifted using the web
browser afterwards.
Left-click on an
arrow button
in order to shift the image section accordingly.
Adjust the “Steps” slider to a higher level in order to shift the image section faster when
clicking an arrow button.
