Using DHCP
With DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), the IP address
is dynamically assigned by a DHCP server. The IP address, subnet
mask and router fields are inactive.

Check the checkbox next to Use DHCP and leave the dialog by
clicking OK.
IP-Address: Address of the recording system at which the
system can be communicated with.
Subnet Mask: Filter criterion based on IP address.
xxx.xxx.xxx.0 means that the first three groups of
the IP address are evaluated for network
classification.
In the example above, this would only be the
numbers 192.168.2.
Router: Address of the router.
The first three groups of the IP address must be
entered for proper functioning even if a router is
not used.
Example: IP address = 192.168.2.230
230.180.2.250
Router = 192.168.2.x
230.180.2.x
