USB radio clock
If a radio clock is used the DLS obtains the current time wirelessly and adjusts the system
time to it.
The USB

radio clock is available for the DLS. Connect the DFM-1-USB to the
DLS.

Notes on time synchronization
Please ensure that the time is not corrected right away after some time has passed, as
is done with conventional radio clocks. The time in the DLS continuously approaches the
correct time until the DLS time is in sync with the radio signal. This process can last several
minutes.
The duration depends on the deviation between the set time and the radio time.
This procedure is a result of the time-dependent, internal program sequences of the DLS.
Changing the time quickly can cause an error in the sequence and thus a malfunction of
the DLS.
Possible problems and causes with date and time
Incorrect time is displayed:
Check the time zone setting.
Automatic switching from daylight-saving time to winter time does not occur:
The time will only be switched over automatically when a corresponding MET time zone
is selected, e.g. Europe/Berlin.
