IMPORTANT

If the recorder is installed as a VdS unit, the system
messages may not be changed in any way. Mes-
sages may not be suppressed either.

If changes are made, the unit is not in accordance
with VdS stipulations.

If SEDOR was activated for one or more cameras, messages may
also appear on the monitor here if the angle of a camera was
changed, for example.

You determine the events which
cause a message to appear on the
monitor in the selection dialog for
system messages.

Clicking the System Messages
button shows the available and
freely selectable messages. A
message then appears if the
corresponding checkbox was
activated.

Hard disk faults are generally
displayed.

You can display the various messages for faults or alarms on your
monitor.

The possible messages include, for example, the failure of a camera
or the disruption of a video line. This message can occur audibly
("sound") and visually ("display"). The red "Error LED" on the front
of the DMS/DLS is always switched on.
