Click in the Camera settings dialog on the camera name you
want to change (A) and enter the new text with the virtual
keyboard.
Terms with up to 17 characters can be entered if a "-" is entered in
the 9th position. If this is not the case, the length of the name is
automatically shortened to eight characters.
Example: 12345678901234567 becomes 12345678
12345678-12345678 retains its full length

If your input is correct, confirm this by clicking the OK key.
The camera name is automatically changed to capital letters.
Proceed in the same manner for all other cameras.
8.5 Recorder and camera description
The recorder or camera description allows more exact information
to be entered on the recorder used and on the respective camera.
During playback this information can be used for more exact
identification of the recording.

Click on Setup > Recording > Camera descriptions.
In the Camera description
dialog you can enter a more
precise designation for both
your recording system and for
the various cameras.
