8.2.9 Compare sense time
The Compare Sense Time can only be set with the Motion
Detection recording mode. The Compare Sense Time is intended
to avoid a high number of detected motions (events) and sent
messages (e.g. to PGuard).
If a motion (an event) is detected, the subsequent motions will be
assigned to the first detected motion for a certain period of time
(compare sense time).
Example: A person crosses a yard. If the recording rate is set to
1 pict./sec. with motion detection, one event will be
detected each second and a message will thus be sent
to PGuard each second. To avoid each detected motion
causing a message, a compare sense time of, for
example, 5 seconds is set. After a motion has been
detected, the subsequent events will be assigned to
the first detected event for 5 seconds. Another message
will only be sent after the set compare sense time (in
the example after 5 seconds).
8.2.10 Camera- or track-specific setting
If your settings are to apply equally for all cameras, activate the
chekbox next to Track Specific.
If you would like different settings for different cameras, activate
the radio button Camera Specific and repeat the individual steps
for the connected camera.
