19 Camera configuration via UTC
If Dallmeier UTC-capable cameras are in use, they can be
configured using DMS/DLS.
NOTE
In order to be able to configure cameras via UTC,
the relevant cameras must be directly connected
to the recorder.
If there is a video distributor between the camera
and the recorder, UTC control is not possible.
19.1 Settings required on the DMS/DLS
You can access the Camera settings dialog as follows:
Setup > Record > Cameras

Left-click on the field in the Control column for whose camera
you wish to set up a UTC control.
If you have already configured a COM port to control a camera
using DNI the symbol for a dome camera will first be displayed in
the Camera control column. In this case right-click on the symbol
and select DF2000Ain the dialog that then appears.

Right-click on the camera
symbol to go to the Settings
for DF2000A dialog. Then
activate radio button Via
FG11. Then click on OK.
