18.3 Selecting control protocol
For the dome camera or pan/tilt head to be controlled properly, the
appropriate control protocol must be selected.

Click the Camera control button in the Interfaces in-/output
menu.
18.3.1 Reading in the DNI network

Click the Read button.
The information of the DNIs (master and slave) connected to the
COM interface is read into the system and displayed in field C. The
master DNI is always on address 0. In the simplest case (only one
controllable camera connected via DNI), two entries are found after
reading in: The master DNI on address 0 and the slave DNI on
address 1.
If a DNI network is not connected, the following fault message
appears: "Fault accessing DNI".
18.3.2 Programming slave DNIs
The DNIs linked to the dome or pan/tilt head as slaves must now
be programmed with the control protocol required for the relevant
pan/tilt head.
