17.5 DIS configuration
With the DIS control function, the remote control of a DIS recorder
(MPEG recorder DIS-1/S or DIS-1/L) can be implemented via the
network.
The CVBS output of the DIS must be linked to a video input of your
choice of the DMS/DLS (input 4 in this example).
In addition, a network connection must exist between the DIS and
DMS/DLS.

Click:
Setup > Interfaces > DIS Configuration
Enter the IP address of the DIS
system for the video input used
(channel 4 in the example) via
the virtual keyboard and confirm
your input by clicking OK.
Existing entries can be deleted
by clicking of
.
When you switch to the corresponding video input (video input 4,
for example) in the playback view of the DMS/DLS, the OSD (On
Screen Display) of the DIS appears in the respective split.
Click the relevant split with the mouse cursor. The DIS can now be
fully controlled via this interface.
