17.4.2 Changing printer properties

To change the printer properties, click the Properties... button
in the Printer dialog.
Select connection type for printer
One of the most important settings is the selection of a printer
connection. In the Printer Properties dialog, select either Parallel
or USB, accordingly, if your printer is connected directly to an
interface on your DMS/DLS.

If you are using a network printer, click the appropriate radio
button.
While no additional settings need to be made for parallel and USB
printers, the IP address of the printer and the queue name are
required for a network printer.
If the printer is addressed directly via an IP address, "raw" must be
entered as the queue name.
If you are unsure about how to set up the IP address and queue
name, please contact the network administrator.
