Unit monitoring and control functionality is provided by proprietary software application that runs on Linux OS
supported by ARM9 microprocessor. Multi-thread operation and web server access are supported by the system.
Dali’s patented n-way modified Doherty Power Amplifier (PA) topology is used as the final amplifier stage (
t43™
),
providing leading edge efficiency and linearity. Linearity of the PA is further enhanced by application of CFR and
DPD algorithms.

tHost™
Introduction
The Dali
tHost™
is connected to the output of the base station via suitable attenuators, and on the other side is
connected to multiple
t43™
s in a star or star/daisy-chain network via single fiber optic cable.
The Dali
tHost™
provides up to 6 fiber optic links to remote units, hence supporting 6 spoke star or star/daisy-
chain network. A fiber optic interface protocol is based on the CPRI V4.1 standard. Dali DAS supports CPRI line
bit rates up to 6.144 Mbps (CPRI option 6). Switching from one to another CPRI line bit rate option is as easy as
replacing pluggable SFP optical transceivers.

tHost™
Monitoring & Control can be performed locally using an Ethernet (or RS-232) interface, or remotely
using wired (Ethernet) or wireless (modem) access, via Dali’s Graphical User Interface (GUI).
