5.11 Auto Grille Unit Error

Detection
This error is determined when an abnormal signal from the auto grille kit is detected.
Error Decision
Conditions
Any of the following conditions is established while the grille is elevating.
 The storage detection limit switch does not detect anything for a prescribed time while the
grille is moving upward.
 The position detection limit switch does not detect anything for a prescribed time while the
grille is moving upward.
 The position detection limit switch detects a position for less than one second while the grille
is moving downward.

 Defective limit switch
Troubleshooting
Check the limit switch, gear,
motor of the drive unit.
Check the items below.
• The grille is elevating while
tilted in a horizontal direction.
• The grille is caught by
something.
• The grille is not mounted.
After correcting any of the
items above, perform
elevating operation again.
